Seminar Description:
Explore the dynamics of the Captive Insurance industry, an alternative way of insuring your organization. Learn how long term care providers can benefit in the captive industry and why health care has become the largest growing sector within the changing risk management landscape. This lunch and learn program will inform providers on the various types of self-insurance, how you can create/own an insurance company as well as discussing the related potential tax implications. Additionally, the program will walk you through the evaluation process to determine if you might be a candidate for starting your own Captive Insurance.

At the conclusion of this seminar, participants will:
• Identify the cost efficiencies gained through starting your own captive insurance
• Recognize the potential captive tax implications
• Understand the changing landscape of risk management within the health care industry

CEUs:
2.5 CEUs will be awarded for nursing home administrators. The Massachusetts Senior Care Association has qualified for “deemed status #NH-09015-007” from the Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators for Administrators. All paid registrants will receive certificate of attendance.
Cancellation Policy:
Mass Senior Care must be notified in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the seminar for a credit of equal amount to be issued to your Mass Senior Care account. No refunds will be given. “No Show” attendees will be billed at the full registration fee. Cancellations should be emailed to info@maseniorcare.org.
