Avoiding Deficiencies and Costly Errors

Wednesday, February 13, 2019

Mass Senior Care Office, Waltham

9:00 a.m.— 12 noon

(Registration at 8:30 a.m.)

Seminar Description:

The Requirements of Participation has touched all aspects of pharmacy services and medication management causing nursing homes to face an increase in deficiencies and costly fines.  In addition, on October 1, 2018 CMS began collecting the assessment-based quality measure Drug Regimen Review for SNF QRP FY 2020.  This measure was created to assess if providers are identifying and reconciling potential medication issues. It is imperative that staff understand the Drug Regime Review process in order to increase quality and decrease citations.
