MDS 3.0 3-Day Competency Program (CHHi-MDS)*

Presented in Partnership with Harmony Healthcare International

November 27, 28 & 29 , 2018

8:30 am – 4:30 pm each day
(Registration begins at 8:00 am)

Program Description:
This 3-day course offers participants a more comprehensive understanding of the RAI process. Participants will spend half of the course time learning how to accurately code the MDS 3.0 Assessment Tool by navigating through each section with an expert trainer. The Care Area Assessments (CAAs) will be introduced as the vital link between the MDS 3.0 and the accurate and resident specific care plan. A detailed discussion of ADL Coding and ADL Scoring will help provide the participant with the tools to more successfully manage ARD selection and to teach the nursing team how to document ADLs more accurately. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and glean provider-specific clarifications that can be applied immediately upon returning to the work place.

Upon completion of the 3-Day workshop, access to the CHHi-MDSI certification exam via email will be available.  Take the exam at your own pace within 90 days.  If you score 80% or higher you pass the exam and will receive your CHHi-MDS credential.
